This class builds on the fundamentals of shooting from Long Gun 101, and moves into defensive and tactical rifle applications. We introduce the use of the sling as well as shooting from different positions such as kneeling and seated. We also will cover how to safely and expeditiously transition into and out of those positions. Skills needed to keep your gun in the fight such as reloads an malfunctions will be covered. We start to work on engaging multiple targets, and shot angle considerations. Discussions will include equipment selection, use of force laws, verbal challenges, and dealing with law enforcement after an act of self defense.
